GFS holding serve and some recent trends indicate this could come right up the highway 17 corridor if it has more of a northerly component to it. Going to be very close. I trust the GFS on track more than some other models, it has done quite well with Dorian recently. Euro is coming out let's see where it goes.

It may follow a Floyd like path. My worry is a storm that strong, even though it will weaken alot by the time it gets here will carry an awful big storm surge with it.
Just sitting here in ECG and thinking it won’t be very bad here. Never is. A little wind a little rain. Nothing more. That’s how every “storm” has been in the 32 years I’ve lived in ENC.
00Z Euro holds serve -- a tad closer to the NC coast, but still remaining just offshore.
Also, WPC has trimmed a bit off our QPF. (Big surprise -- they always do that as an event grows closer.)
One reason is the storm is speeding up as it crosses NC should only take 12hrs or so at any one spot......frankly thats fine I hate all the rain I just want the wind.....
I think the faster he gets here the more west he comes, the runs that have him up here early on Thur bring him further west usually and the slower runs and the Euro that dont get him here till almost Friday morning are more east.....
