Same here forecasting a low around 24-25 which is pretty cold for winter as it is but extremely cold for early to mid April! Why couldn't we get this type of cold in February lol? It seems like the past few years it's been warm in December, slightly BN January and February then the blocking finally takes over by late March and April when it's too late to see snow while ruining our severe weather chances lol.
I remember back a few years we recorded low temps in the teens from november through april. Thats 6 months in row with temps in the teens which was amazing to me.
All the azaleas in the neighborhood have lost their color and the yards are now brown again. My peach tree did ok and I had my small blueberry bush inside the breezeway and covered up.
It was also a pretty nice frontal passage last night with some strong winds for 15 to 20 minutes.

Maybe teens for lows from Nov-Mar but PGV has never recorded a low below 22 in April....the record for the 10th is 27 so we should beat that....April 26th is the latest date we have seen temps 32 or lower, after that you have to go all the way to Oct 4th to see another record low below 32.

4km mam has some interesting coastal development this week. Probably too small to get inland but could be atleast something to watch. Weak tropica systems like this can sometimes overperform and be unpredictable.

It looks slightly warm core on the models but I don't think we see any development from it. Shear looks unfavorable and not enough time for it to develop along with cool water temps. It has been a cool spring so ocean waters haven't warmed quite as fast as usual.
