Going to be an extremely wet day today. 6+ inches will fall in a lot of places from Wilson east. The coastal areas may see over a foot!! Lets see what Hermine can do.
Overcast here, no rain yet, and has that look in the sky like noreaster when we are forecast to get 12 inches of snow but end up with only a few flurries.

Yeah HRRR has slowly been increasing totals for Pitt. up to 6 inches now.
I think I may head down to New Bern tomorrow. My grandparents are down there abt 5 miles south of New bern right on the river. would be some epic sailing winds as the storm pulls out.

No real wind so that sucks since I am a wind junkie just rain.....might get lucky and get some 30 mph gust when the low gets out east of us...wish they had wind profile maps for say 1000 MB instead of 850's since 1000MB winds will mix down.

You'll see more than that. Winds will gust 40-50 across Eastern NC and sustained winds probably 20-30.

I wont hold my breath....they might see that over the NE OBX but PGV if we are lucky will hit 40 mpg gust.....I hope I am wrong.....nasty rotating meso coming in towards Ceder Island if it holds up it might get Swanquarter....
finally getting some good rainfall here, however looking at the radar I don't expect it last but a few hrs, the edge of the sheild is only about 30 miles to my nw and doesn't seem to be moving much futher nw.
