Hmmm…radar seems to want to say that it's all over but the shoutin' by midnight tonight. But then, front-end dumps usually do last only a quarter of the time they were supposed to.

Just ran out of the house to town for a few minutes. 39° and rain. Not even any pingers. Probably some mixing up in northern Bertie into Hertford and into the finger counties. That's as close as it gets.
Nice heavy rain here, Bozart might be right this might be in and out in a hurry, its raining hard but its gonna shut off soon, without that stuff down in GA getting up here it will be over I suspect at least for awhile....

Hrrr tries to change you over to some snow in the next few hours, between midnight and 4am as a band of heavy precip develops. We will see if that verifies or not though! Love the avatar pic btw! Here in Raleigh its 41 with a few sprinkles.
NCHurricane, like the website it's really nice! When I clicked the link in your profile though it took me to "nchurricame.com" instead. Hope you get to see some flakes tonight!

Thanks, snowlover91, for the kind words about the site as well as catching the spelling error! As far as snow goes, I'll believe it when/if i see it. I think I'll have to take my trace on 1/20 and the 2" on 2/12 and be happy this winter.
OT: Very good job to all involved with building this board. Very nice indeed.
Well another underperformer especially in the rain department here, I'm glad we now have spring to look forward to because the theme of this winter was near misses and underperforming events. We had a good 4-6 week period to get snow but the timing and track was always a little too close to the coast or a little too much of a warm nose. Wait till next year with a raging La Niña... Will be a toasty winter most likely.
