Yea, with irma spending 24 hours over cuba ive pretty much lost interest in it and while im sure alot of south florida people on storm2k will be upset they will have a much tamer weak cane to deal with.

Looks like Jose just hit the upwell wake left by Irma....cloud tops warming quickly....also the eye is shrinking rapidly so either a ERC or this thing has 200 mph wins lol....

Meh its very very very very very very rare for a storm at that lat to hit the US....it can happen but nothing in the modeling hints at it yet. 99.9% of storms out there end up moving NE before they interact with any landmass other than Bermuda.
