The latest nam is very interesting for Eastern NC. It keeps an around (including pitt) below freezing as precip moves in. it's snow charts reach the 2inch mark and actually has 3 inches just east of Pitt. It must be a rate driven event and wouldn't likely be sleet given the warm nose.

Also the Twister site doesn't do well with ice and so it counts ice as snow. Pivotal weather is a great resource for ice accumulations and it shows .30-.35 in zr accumulation for Pitt county.
