Records fell all across NC. Greenville finished at 66.40 at PGV this year. This makes 3 out of 4 years where we were closing in on the record of 70 inches. Numerous cities topped 100 inches due to Florence.
It was far from the wettest year ever at my house. I missed out on a lot of the summertime thunderstorms that soaked most of the area.

2018 TOTAL: 47.62 -- Pretty close to normal at my house, actually. 4.5" snow/sleet for the calendar year. 132 precipitation days -- That's a lot of rain days, but they included a lot of low-precip days. 5 snow/sleet days. 9 days of 1 inch or more liquid equivalent. Wettest month: September, with 10.09, thanks to Hurricane Florence. Driest month: February, with 1.26. Maximum consecutive rain days: 6, during September, around Hurricane Florence. No hail observed. No severe wind.
