I actually don't see any ads since I have an ad blocker installed on my phone, tablet and computer. All I see is a message saying to consider supporting the site by disabling the ad-blocker.
Twice tonight when I have been visiting this site, MacKeeper spam has seized control of my browser and made me do a force quit. It makes me violently angry.

Do you have a pop up blocker installed? Have you had it happen with any other websites?

1. I'm not sure, though it's true that I tend to disfavor pop-up blockers because in the past I've found they prevent certain desired things. 2. Pretty sure I have, but nowhere else lately.
I suspect a rogue ad was allowed into the banner-ad rotation. Maybe the site owner has already weeded it out by now.

I'll see what I can find out for you, thanks for letting me know. I used adblocker or adblocker plus for safari on my mac and it actually works really well. We are looking at removing adds from the site entirely but looking at how we will fund such an endeavor!
