Yeah will be after midnight......low cape so its a crap shoot but with the steep mid level lapse rates and dry air above there could be some strong downburst....

Just got hit by that lagging storm in Wake... first tiny hail of the year! Maybe a couple peas in there. But the best part was that last super crispy thunder clap... yeah I want more of that please
Had no idea what was coming. Saw a flash of light outside from the corner of my eye and wondered, lightning? Sure enough, a few minutes later a ferocious tree-bending blast of wind roared through. Cool beans. :-)

We'll have to keep an eye on Sunday. Never like seeing possibilities of rain early in the day but if we can minimize that and can get some sun then maybe we will see some strong to severe storms.

Been a long time since we have seen a true springtime squall line with widespread 60+ winds...probably will peak west of here around 4-6 and be on the down swing by the time it gets here.
