Rolling into June! We have Already had 2 tropical systems impact the area more or less. Looks like a calm hot pattern ahead for the first part of June but by the middle part of June models are hinting at a fairly active period with thunderstorms every day. We will see if it plays out.
Anyways I'm off to Beaufort this weekend. Just bought a GoPro mount that will fit on the boom of my sunfish sailboat. Hopefully get some good footage! Winds around 20knts and 2 ft seas in the inlet may get exciting!

I have to say I'm loving the cooler spring and early summer we've had so far, only a few 90 degree days. Too bad July and August will be a blowtorch lol.

Chance of storms starts up again by Wednesday this week. Then models indicate an ULL dropping across the area next weekend. If that verifies we could see some much cooler weather and heavy rains with it.

Hot and muggy out there today, 94 around these parts and dry as a bone. No chance for rain until Wednesday when we might see some afternoon storms for a few days. Maybe we will see a good severe storm then.
Also models depicting an interesting ULL dropping down across the area next weekend. Track for that will be key but could bring some much cooler weather for a few days and maybe a few storms too.

Nah somehow it probably went around him giving a few hundredths of an inch lol. Northern Greenville looks like it is getting a nice storm and strong winds too.

Some nice storms rolled through last night as the MCS broke apart. Too bad it couldn't hold together as it was quite the wind producer up in VA. Now it's a cool 59F outside with a DP of 44 in mid-June, I'll take that any day!
Lol you just can't make this stuff up... Bozart must have a pretty strong force field in place haha it's been working well in recent weeks.
Was out of town for a few days. But my landlady emailed me Wednesday evening (the 15th) saying we got a gullywasher. And sure enough, when I arrived home yesterday I found 1.59" on the ol' rain meter. Nice.
And now we know what I have to do to make it rain here. Leave the state!

Next time we have a drought we will just send Bozart out of town lol Looks like boring weather next 7-10 days with minimal rain chances and alternating between hot 90-95 days and then brief cool downs into the 80s.
