As requested, Bozart.
Will the dry trend continue? Will we see any temps above 85° before the end of October? When will the first 10 day snow map appear? All this and more coming up....
At last, the spell is broken this Oct. 13. My rain gauge just clicked with .01" -- the first measurable rain here since Sept. 13. Can't remember the last time I went a month without rain.

Just to follow up...I came out with a .52" storm total -- an ideal 7-hour slow-soak.

Fall has arrived! More like winter haha. Had about 2 weeks of "fall" temps and now I could be down to the 32 mark Thursday and may struggle to get out of the 40s Thursday.
Had a low of 36.7 this morning! Trees are rapidly changing now.

Add to that report another .74" slow soaker yesterday...and now it looks like the remnants of "Potential Tropical Cyclone Sixteen" are progged to pass directly overhead this weekend. So it could be I'm saved from drought for the time being.

33.8 here this morning! Heavy frost.
Had a great rain here earlier in the week. Hoping to grab another .5-1 using some of the upslope enhancement from this tropical system. You guys further east look to get a NICE fall rainy day Saturday afternoon
What a f'n joke. Maybe a sprinkle here and I never heard so much as one rumble of thunder.
That looked like a pretty gnarly storm that passed by Grifton -- riding the warm front, I assume. It was pretty much the cell of the day. But yeah, for most of us the day was a bust. I got .04" at my house. No thunder. Still pretty dry around here, actually. Only 2.16" here in the last 40 days.
I miss the warm days already. Seems we moved rather quickly from the 80s to the 60s, or is it just my imagination? And the nights, they sure did cool down fast. Winter is coming ... ugh.
