I live in one and I live in Louisiana where flooding is a constant thing so we aren't allowed to have basements.
I have sort of an irrational fear of tornadoes and each time we get a warning for my area I practically accept death if it comes.
Are there reports of people living after being hit by a tornado in a trailer, or do they pretty much just die?
Thanks.
A trailer is a very dangerous place to be in a tornado. Trailers tend to just sort of disintegrate in tornadic winds, the occupants swept out. But they don't always die. You're likely to survive being swept out and across your own yard, as long as you're not struck by a projectile. It's a matter of luck. But all of life is a wager.

A 80+yr old lady survived the tornado in our area and was left sitting in the middle of a highway after her trailer was destroyed. All she had was broken wrist.
Even still a trailer is no match even for weaker end tornados. Like bozart a Said.... luck of the draw
